Iran's Raisi lauds IRGC for promoting peace, security
TEHRAN – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has commended the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) for its unwavering commitment to peace and security in the region.
In a speech on Wednesday, Raisi also praised the efforts of all Iranian military, law enforcement, and security forces who tirelessly work day and night to safeguard the country's security.
Raisi underscored the importance of maintaining security as a cornerstone of national stability, emphasizing that Iran's enemies are constantly striving to undermine its security and stability.
He highlighted the recent atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip, noting that despite the overwhelming support it receives from the U.S. and other Western countries, Israel has failed to achieve its goals of suppressing Palestinian resistance and separating the people from their legitimate struggle.
"Despite the comprehensive support it receives, the Tel Aviv regime has achieved nothing but the killing of thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children," Raisi asserted, saying, "Their efforts to uproot the resistance and divide the people from their defenders have been met with unwavering resilience and resistance."
The Iranian president reiterated Iran's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.
In the end, he condemned Israel's blatant disregard for international law and human rights.
